3.0 Earthquake Registered in NW Bulgaria

A 3.0-magnitude earthquake has been registered in northern Bulgaria, according to reports of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

It occurred at 7:21 pm Saturday. The epicenter is 2 km deep and was close to the Bulgarian northwestern town of Mezdra.

It is located 16 km southwest of Mezdra, 21 km south of the city of Vratsa, and 42 km northeast of the Bulgarian capital Sofia

There are no reports of casualties, injuries or material damage
