People who support Bulgaria's Socialist-led government gathered once again Tuesday on Independence Square, near the Office of the President and his Administration.

About 60 were present, shouting "Resignation" and "Impeachment" of President Rosen Plevneliev.

The rally lasted about one hour.

A string-puppet was a special feature of the protest. The demonstrators explained that the puppet, which they named "Plevnoccio," and the President have a lot in common because both were marionettes whose strings are being pulled by someone else.

They accused Plevneliev of failing to be non-partisan and of dividing the nation by supporting those who demand the resignation of the Cabinet of Prime Minister, Plamen Oresharski.

According to them, over half million people have signed the petition in support of the current government, while 80 000 put signatures under the one asking for the impeachment of the President.
