Man Injured in Bulgaria Gas Tank Explosion Passes Away

A 60-year-old man who had suffered severe burns in an explosion that occurred in a train composition of propan butan-filled gas cisterns in Bulgaria back on August 14 has passed away.

The man had 95% burns and remained in a critical condition for eight days.

Another man remains in hospital with 25% burns. His life is out of danger, reporters say.

Seven firefighters also remain in hospital with slighter injuries. A total of 11 people were injured in a fire and consequent explosions, which occurred in a train composition of propane-filled gas cisterns near the village of Ezerovo, close to the Black Sea city of Varna, on August 14.
