Bulgaria's Interior Ministry has once again ruled out foul play in the explosion at a Chinese restaurant in downtown Sofia that left over a dozen of people injured Sunday evening.

Experts have conducted an investigation at the scene of the accident, concluding that no traces of explosive substances have been found.

The experts have confirmed that the blast was caused by a natural gas bottle. The explosion injured a total of 13 people, including 2 passers by.

The explosion tore off parts of the facade of a building located right in Sofia's center, opposite the St. Nicholas Russian church on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd.

Regional units of Bulgaria's fire safety service are launching mass inspections at sites using or storing LPG bottles after the explosion.
