Glen Powell Joins Star-Packed Cast of Bulgaria-Shot Expendables 3

Glen Powell has become the latest actor to be confirmed for the cast of action movie Expendables 3 that is to be shot in Bulgaria starting August 19.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the 24-year-old actor has signed on for the sequel, and is set to play "a highly trained combat veteran who is also an expert hacker and drone pilot."

Last week, the news broke that Bruce Willis was out of Expendables 3 and that Harrison Ford had been recruited to replace him. Willis was reportedly negotiating over a four day shoot in Bulgaria and refused the offer from Stallone and co. of  USD 3 M, demanding USD 4 M instead.

The movie’s cast cast is expected to include Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Milla Jovovich, Mel Gibson, Jackie Chan, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Antonio Banderas and Wesley Snipes, among others.

The Expendables 3 is being produced by Nu Image and Millennium Films and Lionsgate will release it on August 15, 2014. Patrick Hughes, who made his directorial debut with the 2010 Aussie western Red Hill, is serving as director on the project.
