Bulgarian international goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov is set to join Italian side Hellas Verona from Dutch side Twente Enschede.

The move is subject to a medical, Mihayov revealed on Monday.

"I'm going to Milan, where I have to pass medicals and sign for Verona," the 25-year-old told local media.

The Bulgarian is expected to join the 1985 Italian champions on a two-year contract.

A number of European teams were recently linked with Mihaylov, including Fiorentina and Fulham.

Mihaylov has played for Twente since 2008. He became Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 2011.

Reports emerged last week that Verona was also about to sign another Bulgaria international, Partizan Belgrade defender Ivan Ivanov.
