Bulgaria’s dreams to compete in the FIVB World League Finals came true after it scored a second victory against Poland, while its main rival for the spot USA lost to Brazil.

Bulgaria proved they merited their place in the finals by beating Poland for the second time in a row, 3-2 (20-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 19-17) on Saturday, even though they didn’t need the win to advance.

On Friday the team put on a fantastic display to defeat Poland, getting one step closer to the 2013 FIVB World League Finals.

The Bulgarians wasted no time defeating last year’s World League gold medalists, winning a quick three sets 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21).
