Bulgaria's Mission in Russia Issues 200,000th Visa for 2013

8-year-old Russian girl Maria Bulava received the 200,000th Bulgarian visa issued to Russian citizens for 2013.

The little girl will be presented with the visa at a special ceremony in the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow, announced Bulgaria's diplomatic mission to Russia.

Maria will travel to Bulgaria together with her mother to take part in a cultural exchange program organized by the town of Byala.

The tour operator that organized her travel will award them with a voucher for a one-week holiday in Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian embassy in Russia has also revealed that the number of visas issued to Russians continues to grow.

At present, this number for 2013 is 17% higher than that for the same period in 2012 and 163% higher than in 2009, said the mission.
