The initiative is held for the eighth time in a row under the patronage and with the support of the international environmental organization WWF.

Thousands of volunteers will be cleaning and repairing infrastructure and markings in tourist areas and mountain paths.

Bulgaria's natural parks are: the Vitosha Mountain, the Rila Monastery, the beach resort "Golden Sands,", the Stara Planina area near the city of Vratsa, the valley of the Rusenski Lom River, the Strandzha Mountain, the plateau near the city of Shumen, the natural site "Bulgarka" near the city of Gabrovo, the "Blue Stones" near the city of Sliven, "Persina" near the town of Belene and Belasitsa.

They see thousands of visitors every year.

13 000 volunteers total have participated in the campaign so far. They have collected over 60 tons of waste. 12 bridges have been built and over 100 signs have been mounted. New recreation areas have been built as well.
