Unknown Offenders Rob Home of Brother of Bulgaria's President

Unknown offenders have broken into and robbed the home of Rumen Plevneliev, the brother of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev.

The accident happened on the evening of June 4, according to reports of the Sofia District Police Directorate, as cited by the Bulgarian National Radio.

The Sofia District Police refused to specify what had been stolen, adding that the offenders had most likely taken electronics and valuables.

The robbers managed to steal into the house situated in the well guarded closed-type residential complex Residential Park, just a few meters away from the home of Bulgaria's head of state guarded by officers of the the National Security Service.

According to reports of Sega daily, Rumen Plevneliev has been running a private business in Austria for a few years.

The case is being investigated by the Sixth Regional Police Department in Sofia .
