The country’s electoral body is expected to officially announce the results once the second count is over.
The names of all candidates who made it into Parliament is expected to be announced one week after the May 12 election.
The first count showed that the center-right GERB party of former PM Boyko Borisov came out first at the vote with 30.74%, followed by the Bulgarian Socialist Party with 27.07%.
The liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms has10.46%, while the ultranationalist Ataka (Attack) has 7.39%. No other parties overcame the election threshold.
Cabinet formation is expected to be difficult, as the four parties elected to parliament harbor significant hostilities among each other.
