Bulgarian PM Reiterates Importance of Partnership with Qatar

Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister Marin Raykov has once again underlined the importance of his country’s strategic partnership with Qatar.

Raykov noted that the two countries have had an intense and fruitful political dialogue over the last couple of years.

The Bulgarian PM reminded that the two countries have signed a total of 12 key cooperation agreements. He listed transport, infrastructure, tourism, the food industry, energy, education and technologies as the main areas of cooperation between Bulgaria and Qatar.

Raykov, who is also serving as Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister, met with the Chief of Staff of Qatar's armed forces, Hamad Bin Ali al-Attiyah, on Monday.
