Light Earthquake Rattles again SE Bulgaria

A light earthquake has been registered in southeastern Bulgaria, the European Seismological Center reported.

The epicenter of the earthquake, which hit at 5:20 am Saturday, was located 5 km west of the southeastern town of Topolovgrad, 46 km southwest of the city of Yambol, and 251 km southeast of the capital Sofia.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.3 on the Richter scale, and occurred at a depth of 8 km.

The same data about the tremor was reported by the Geophysics Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

There are no reports of material damages or injuries.
