Bulgaria's Pironkova Puts End to Losing Streak

Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova broke an 8-game losing streak on Tuesday, as she won against Karolina Pliskova in Marrakesh.

The world No. 53 defeated her opponent 7:5, 6:1 in one hour and 15 minutes to book her place in the second round.

Pironkova will face either Lourdes Dom?nguez Lino or Misaki Doi in her next match.
