"Offshoreleaks" include names of Bulgarian businessmen, politicians, and several pollsters, according to the controversial leader of the marginal conservative Order, Law and Justice party, RZS, Yane Yanev.

Yanev made the comment Friday in connection with reports that the Washington, D.C.-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists has received nearly 30 years of data entries, emails and other confidential details from 10 offshore havens around the world in what is believed to be one of the largest ever leaks of financial data.

"We will all see now how the said pollsters have always worked for preserving the status quo. I know the exact names of people with offshore accounts and in few days I will publically disclose them. BGN 15 -20 B have been concealed in offshore accounts in the last 20 years," says Yanev.

He reiterated he had obtained reliable information about Bulgarian businessmen and politicians who have been involved in large-scale tax evasion.

"For example, we are about to learn some quite curious facts about the income of former EU Commissioner, Meglena Kuneva – not the politician Kuneva, but the banker Kuneva," the RZS leader declared.
