Bulgarian Pop Diva Delights Kremlin

Lili Ivanova, 73, Bulgaria's eternal pop diva and a favorite of several generations, has been the only foreign performer and special guest at an anniversary concert held in the Kremlin in Moscow, Russia.

The anniversary concert took place Sunday in the Kremlin Palace in Moscow and was dedicated to the birthday celebration of Ilya Reznik one of the most popular lyricists and poets of Russia. Lili was the only foreign guest. She presented 2 of her newest songs specially written by Ilya Reznik in the Russian language.

"Ilya invited me personally. We are close friends, having worked together a lot in the past. The last time we met was at my concert in Paris' Olimpia Hall in 2009," Lili Ivanova is quoted saying.

The concert was broadcasted by Channel One Russia.
