Bulgarian PR expert Maxim Behar has been elected Chairman of the Communication Forum in Davos after a secret vote of twenty five Board members.

"This is an exceptional recognition for Bulgaria, my colleagues from the company, for everything we have achieved in these 20 years in the PR business," Behar says.

He has been present at the Forum since its very first day; has delivered a number of lectures and has participated in debates. He is a full-pledged member of the Board for two years now.

Two more Board members have received the same number of votes, leading to the decision to have three Co-chairs managing the Forum – Maxim Behar, Andre Manning, Vice President Corporate Communications of Royal Philips Electronics, and Janina Dubeykovskaya, Program Director of the Forum in Davos.

Behar says the idea to co-chair the Forum was an interesting experiment that would allow each of the three to focus on different topics and make their constant meetings across the globe with local PR organizations more effective.

Maxim Behar has an extensive PR experience, spanning for over 25 years, and is a renowned PR expert. His creative personality has strong influence on Bulgaria's political and business life.

He is the treasurer of the ICCO Executive Board and founder and CEO of the leading Bulgarian PR company M3 Communications Group. Since 2012, he is also the Head of the Office of the leading Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Prague.

Behar is member of numerous Bulgarian and international boards and lectures at universities across the globe. He is also the Seychelles Honorary Consul in Bulgaria.

M3 Communications Group, Inc. was founded in 1994. It offers full-package communication services including public and media relations, event management, marketing communications and advertising, business conferences and meetings, media monitoring, and web services.

The PR Forum Communication on Top in Davos sets the goal to bring together communication experts and innovators and provide a platform for exchange of ideas, trends and strategies. 150 people from 35 countries attended it this year, which was a record in the Forum's history.
