An informational cross-country tour for the implementation of operational programs in Bulgaria for the 2014-2020 period will start Tuesday.
The operational programs will first be presented to local authorities and non-governmental organizations.
The tour starts Tuesday in the northwestern city of Montana and the event will be attended by caretaker EU Funds Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Iliyana Tsanova.
The campaign will include experts from the managing authorities, who will present the future operational programs Transport and Transport Infrastructure, Environment, Regions in Growth, Human Resources Development, Research and Education for Intelligent Growth, Good Governance, and Rural Development.
The current Competitiveness OP, has not been included in the tour because it is not ready yet.
Operational program Competitiveness is to be presented during the second cross-country informational tour, when the emphasis will be on business.
The informational campaign for the new programming period is organized at the initiative of the network of 28 information points for popularizing the Cohesion policy of the European Union in Bulgaria.
The schedule of meetings includes Montana – April 2, Veliko Tarnovo – April 3, Varna – April 4, Burgas - April 9, Pazardzhik – April 10, and Blagoevgrad – April 11.
No presentation of the 2014-2020 operational programs has yet been scheduled for Sofia.
