Screenings of Bulgarian post-communist drama movie "Tilt" of director Viktor Chuchkov Jr. in Germany will start on May 9.

The premiere of the Bulgarian-German co-production will be in Berlin and will be attended by brothers Viktor Chuchkov (director, scriptwriter) and Borislav Chuchkov (producer) and some cast members.

"Tilt" is distributed by Port-au-Prince Pictures in Germany.

Bulgarian actors starring the movie include Yavor Baharov, Radina Kardjilova, Ovanes Torosjan, Ivaylo Dragiev, Georgi Staykov, Filip Avramov, Alexander Sano, etc.

The cinematographer of the movie is Rali Raltschev.

"Tilt" is among the most successful Bulgarian movies for the past 23 years, attracting over 150 000 viewers in Bulgarian cinemas and boasting a range of awards from international festivals such as the 'Best Debut' Award at Raindance Film Festival, the Best Director Award at the California Independent Film Festival.

"Tilt" was selected as the Bulgarian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards, but it did not make the final shortlist.
