Police say they have no evidence to suggest third-party involvement in the death of Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky.

Police say an employee of Berezovsky said he had called an ambulance on Saturday after becoming concerned for the former oligarch's welfare.

They added that the employee told police he forced open a bathroom door which had been locked on the inside and discovered Berezovsky's body on the floor.

Earlier, the Russian tycoon's house in Berkshire was given the all-clear after it was searched by police for chemical, biological and nuclear material.

A Home Office post-mortem examination is to be carried out, according to the BBC.

Berezovsky was a close friend of another Russian fugitive and former KGB officer Alexander Litvinenko, who died in London in 2006 from poisoning by radioactive polonium-210.
