Bulgarian Teacher Kicked Out for Indecent Harlem Shake Video with Students

A 33-year-old high school English teacher has lost his job after performing the Harlem Shake dance with his students in the school yard.

Hristo Danev, who has been teaching English for five years at the St. Cyril and St. Methodius Humanities High School in the southern city of Plovdiv, organized and videotaped the Harlem Shake dance together with the students, Darik Radio reported.

All of the "performers", the teacher included, were disguised in weird ways as soccer fans, doctors, police officers, sheikhs. The video included performing indecent scenes and smoking.

Indignant parents have petitioned against the teacher. Interestingly, Danev resigned himself after orchestrating the Harlem Shake video with his students.

Subsequently, he changed his mind, and tried to revoke his resignation but his contract had already been terminated.

Danev is a former graduate of the same high school.
