A 28-year-old woman with psychiatric problems has been detained in the town of Omurtag in Northeastern Bulgaria for making phone threats against Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

The woman made three calls to the emergency number 112 within 10 minutes Friday morning issuing threats against Borisov from the landline in her home, the police in the District of Targovishte reported.

This is the third case of a telephone threat against Bulgaria's top government figure, including PM Boyko Borisov, since the start of February 2013, after on Tuesday the police arrested 35-year-old Ivan Koychev, an unemployed man from the Roma community in the village of Karadzhovo, Plovdiv District, who threatened to blow up the prime minister.

Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov was the target of a bomb threat made by a 38-year-old Varna resident with a criminal record who was arrested on Wednesday, after he called 112, and said, "I've set up a bomb for Tsvetanov".
