Nearly 2.3 million people have viewed the video showing a man pointing a gun at the head of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish leader, Ahmed Dogan, and the following melee.

The video has also made the most popular online broadcast for amazing video clips – "Equals Three."

The Ray William Johnson show presents each week the three most popular video clips online with funny comments for each of them. Until now, the show has been watched by over 1 billion people.

"Do you hate it when someone wants to kill you? Well, I do," this is how Ray starts his comment.

He says the video does not make it clear if the attacker did not pull the trigger on purpose or if the gun has misfired, adding he learned the said gun was a gas pistol and he even didn't know such pistols existed.

The host also notes at Dogan's karate skills in fighting off the attacker and at the thrashing of the assailant by officials.

The clip can be seen HERE with the segment about the attack starting after the second minute.

The clip was made last Saturday, when police in Bulgaria detained a man after he pointed a gun at Dogan  as he was delivering a speech at the Eight National Conference of the ethnic Turkish party Movement for Rights and Freedoms, DPS, in the capital Sofia. No shots were fired. The man was identified as Oktay Enimehmedov, a 25-year-old ethnic Turkish resident of the city of Burgas, with a previous criminal record for assault and theft.

In the following hours, thousands of Bulgarians began uniting in outrage from live footage showing DPS delegates hitting with fists and kicking the young man, trying to pull his pants down and shouting "kill him," and "beat him."

The prosecutor's office informed they would seek legal sanctions against them.

It was also reported that Enimehmedov did not actually want to kill Dogan, but to scare him.

Sofia City Prosecutor, Nikolay Kokinov, announced Enimehmedov will be charged with grave hooliganism and death threat. The Sofia Regional Court ruled Tuesday to keep him under permanent detention.
