Bulgaria, Serbia to Ink Gas Connection Deal

Bulgaria's and Serbia's PMs Boyko Borisov and Ivica Dacic will sign Friday an agreement for the construction of a link between the natural gas networks of the two countries.

The document will be signed in Brussels in the presence of EU Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger, reports Serbian agency Beta.

The connection will go from Bulgaria's capital Sofia on to Serbia's Dimitrovgrad and Nis.

Work on the construction of the natural gas link is expected to begin in 2013.
