Popular musicians are joining together in a benefit concert Friday for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The NBC concert, under the motto Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, will be aired live Friday evening by NBC, and its cable stations including Bravo, CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E!

The performance will feature Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, who are from New Jersey, and Billy Joel, who is from Long Island, which are some of the hardest hit areas.

Other stars include Christina Aguilera, Sting, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart, Kevin Bacon, Mary J. Blige, Tina Fey, James Gandolfini and Al Roker. The show will be hosted by "Today" show's Matt Lauer.

All collected funds will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Bon Jovi, who is expected in Bulgaria in 2013, was in London when the storm hit. He canceled his plans and returned to New Jersey, according to his representative. In a statement, he urged people to donate to the victims of the storm.
