Travolta Arrives to Shoot Movie in Bulgaria, De Niro Expected

John Travolta has arrived in Bulgaria's capital Sofia where he is set to star in a new movie called "Killing Season."

Travolta co-piloted in the plane that flew him on Monday to the Balkan country.

Robert De Niro is expected to arrive in Sofia later on Tuesday, local media inform.

"Killing Season" (previously titled Shrapnel) was written by Evan Daugherty and directed by Mark Steven Johnson for Millennium Films, as the first on-screen pairing of theTravolta and De Niro.

The movie tells the story of two veterans of the Bosnian War, an American and a Serbian, who clash in the remote Smoky Mountain wilderness.

Military veteran Benjamin Ford (Robert De Niro) has fled to a cabin retreat somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains.

The drama begins when Emil Kovac, a former Serbian soldier, seeks Ford out, hoping to settle an old score. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game
