18-Year-Old Wins 1st Bulgarian-Made Great Wall Voleex С10

Bulgarian car maker Litex Motors, the local partner of the Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors, has presented the first ever Bulgarian-made Great Wall Voleex С10 to an 18-year-old who won a Facebook contest.

Georgi Todorov, a native of Sofia, won the brand-new Bulgarian-made car in a three-round game on Facebook entitled "Win the First Bulgarian-made Great Wall Voleex C10", the final round being an essay entitled "Why I Deserve to Win Great Wall Voleex C10".

"Identifying oneself, and being proud of being Bulgarian based on Bulgarian technology is not very frequent. I thank Great Wall for giving me this chance. I would be the proud owner of the first Bulgarian-made made care. The very idea makes me happy," the 12th-grader stated in his winning essay.

Todorov received his Bulgarian-made Great Wall Voleex С10 at the car expo at the Plovdiv International Fair on Thursday from the brand manager of Litex Motors, Nikolay Likyov, the company announced.

Likyov stressed the Facebook contest organized by Litex Motors to promote its manufacturing in Bulgaria of the Great Wall branded automobiles under a partnership agreement with the Chinese company has been massively successful, attracting over 250 000 fans within a matter of months.

Litex Motors participated at the Plovdiv International Fair staging the Bulgarian and European premiere of three Great Wall models - Hover H5, Voleex C30, and Voleex C20R.

Bulgaria's Litex Motors based in the northern city of Lovech started in 2012 the production of Great Wall cars in Europe under the a cooperation deal with China's Great Wall Motors that has been met with great hopes for the Bulgarian economy.

The Bulgarian-made Great Wall vehicles are first offered in Balkan states such as Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Albania, and will later attempt to make a breakthrough in the wider EU market.
