New Bulgarian Envoy to Georgia Presents Credentials

Bulgaria's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Plamen Bonchev, has handed his credentials to Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili.

In discussions after the ceremony, the President of Georgia noted the enhanced high-level political dialogue and active co-operation between the two countries, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry says in a press release.

They also discussed prospects of bilateral relations in various fields.

President Saakashvili expressed his country's appreciation for the support and assistance that Bulgaria has shown for democratic reforms in Georgia and for his country's process of integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
