Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised Bulgaria's reaction to the July 18, 2012, terrorist attack in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas which killed 5 Israelis and 1 Bulgarian.

Netanyahu and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov chaired a joint sitting of the Cabinets of Bulgaria and Israel in Jerusalem on Tuesday.

"Bulgaria has met all of Israel's expectations after the terrorist attack against the Israeli tourists in Burgas," Netanyahu told Borisov referring to the so called Burgas Bus Bombing that happened on July 18 at the Sarafovo Airport in Burgas.

"Our friendship has been tested," the Israeli PM added, as cited by the Focus news agency.

In his words, Bulgaria and Israel had been working in order to boost the number of Israeli tourists in the former, which reached some 150 000 – 200 000 people per year before the Burgas Bus Bombing.

"It was you who met all of our expectations – you personally, your government, your people, your doctors, all of you met our expectations," Netanyahu told Borisov.

Israel's PM promised that the two nations will be "inseparable" in the fight against global terrorism, not omitting the fact that their Cabinets picked September 11, 11 years after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, DC.

"We know that terrorism is threatening the entire world, and the countries with principles need to win together. We will win," Netanyahu added.
