Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, held a security matters meeting with Israeli's Internal Security Head, Yitzhak Aronovich.

The two have highlighted the excellent relations and cooperation between their countries in all sectors, including the security one.

Tsvetanov, Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, and the entire cabinet, except Borisov's other Deputy, Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, are in Israel for the second joint sitting of the two countries' cabinets.

The joint sitting in Jerusalem, scheduled on the 11th anniversary of the September 11 2011 terror attack against the US, is deemed a display of the excellent ties between the two countries despite the July 18 bus bombing that killed five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas.

Tsvetanov expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims while Aronovich thanked the Bulgarian security services for their effort in investigating the terror act and finding the perpetrators.

The talks outlined the priorities of the bilateral cooperation in security matters, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry, reported Tuesday.

The parties decided to organize joint fire rescue and protection of the population trainings, and to establish by the end of 2012 joint groups in fighting different types of crime.

The two ministers also signed a declaration for partnership in reaction to emergency situations and disasters.

Aronovich accepted the invitation to visit Bulgaria in the near future.
