A Polish bus has burned down completely on Bulgaria's major Black Sea coast road in an incident without any casualties.

The incident occurred at about 2 pm EET on Monday near the village of Rudnik on the Varna-Burgas road, the bTV channel reported citing the Bulgarian traffic police in Varna.

The most likely cause of the fire that erupted on the bus transporting a theater troupe from Poland was a technical malfunction.

The bus driver noticed smoke, pulled over, and evacuated the passengers who even managed to save all of their baggage.

The 38 Polish artists were traveling from the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Primorsko to Romania.

All of them were transported later with the assistance of the Polish Embassy in Sofia.
