Fiorentina Fancy Cut-Price Berbatov Deal

Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov is reportedly on the verge of a cut-price GBP 3 M move to Italian club Fiorentina.

Fiorentina have offered the unsettled Bulgarian striker a two-year deal and have spoken to the 31-year-old Berbatov's representatives, The Mirror reports.

Berbatov is said to be hoping that Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson will now give the move the green light.

The Bulgarian has been unwanted at Old Trafford for a while now, with the arrival of Robin van Persie from Arsenal only making things worse for him.

Zenit St Petersburg, Galatasaray and Sunderland have been mentioned recently as potential Berbatov rescue options.

The striker has made it perfectly clear that he wants to be transferred out and enjoy first-team football.
