World Champ Zlateva of Bulgaria Step Closer to Big Dream

Bulgaria's Stanka Zlateva, a five-time world wrestling champion, reached the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games in London.

In 72 kilograms, Zlateva defeated Jenny Fransson of Sweden convincingly 2:0, her second victory for Thursday after winning against world bronze medalist Vasilisa Marzaliuk of Belarus in a tough opening match up.

Hristova, who has never won Olympic gold, will attempt to redeem herself for the disappointment she suffered four years ago in Beijing when she settled for silver.
