After the opening ceremony, Bulgaria's President, Rosen Plevneliev, is returning to London, to cheer the country's athletes during the last days of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Head of State will watch the Track and Field and Rhythmic Gymnastics events and will be present for the performance of Bulgaria's female wrestler and biggest hope for gold, Stanka Zlateva, and of marathon swimmer, Petar Stoychev.

The President will also attend the official closing ceremony of the Games.

The Bulgarian Standard daily writes that Plevneliev is departing for London Wednesday in the company of the oldest of his three sons.

During his stay he will also have a working breakfast with representatives of the London City and will visit the Tex City business park.

Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, and Economy and Energy Minister, Delyan Dobrev, are arriving in London Tuesday. Borisov says he will not watch the Games over his busy agenda, but still promised to cheer the Bulgarian national volleyball team after his meeting with Great Britain's counterpart, David Cameron.
