Bulgaria's top sprinter Ivet Lalova has failed to qualify for the final in the 100 m sprint at the London Olympics.
Lalova finished sixth in the second series of the 100 m sprint semi-final in London, facing extremely tough competition.
Ivet failed to make a good start, and ended with a time of 11.31 seconds, well above her achievement in the qualifications of 11.06.
Lalova is also signed up to compete in the 200 m sprint at the London Olympics but Bulgaria had greater hopes for her in the 100 m sprint that she is specialized in.
