Bulgarian boxer Tervel Pulev has scored a three-point victory over Wang Xuanxuan of China in the 2012 London Olympic heavyweight class.

Pulev made a fast start, sending Wang down after ending a decent combination to the body with a big left hook upstairs, SportsMole reported.

The Bulgarian was all over his opponent and scored another knockdown in the second, this time with a shot that looked below the belt.

Wang could find no way into the bout and Pulev was well in control, leading by three points as they entered the final round.

The Chinese fighter was the aggressor in the final round but could not reverse the result and fell to a 10-7 defeat.

Tervel Pulev is the younger brother of Kubrat Pulev, the first Bulgarian professional boxer.
