A 20-year-old suspect, charged with the murder of an 11-year-old boy in the northeastern Bulgarian city of Shumen last year, has made full confessions in court.

Hristo Sechinski, nicknamed "The Cobra" is expected to hear his verdict today and hopes to strike a deal with the prosecutors.

Presiyan Ivanov was found dead with multiple stab wounds in an unfinished building near the house-museum Pancho Vladigerov in September 2011. Presiyan went out to play the previous day and failed to come home by 22:00 o'clock as he had promised.

The murderer was a sexual abuse victim as a child. He knew the victim and is suffering from a psychiatric illness. He has been treated in a local mental institution.
