Bulgaria's Pironkova Off to Flying Start at London Olympics

Bulgaria's best female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova has made it to the second round at the London Olympics tennis tournament.

Pironkova beat Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 Saturday afternoon in the first round of the tennis tournament of London 2012 at All England Club.

This is Pironkova's first win over Cibulkova, who had triumphed in all of their five matches before that.

In the second round of the London Olympics tennis tournament, Bulgaria's Pironkova will face Italy's Flavia Pennetta.
