Middle East Quartet Condems 'Brutal' Bulgaria Attack

The peace Quartet on the Middle East has issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack against Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, announced Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The Quartet, including Russia, the USA, the EU and the UN resolutely condems the brutal act of terrorism," reads the statement.

The members of the Quartet present their deepest condolences and sympathies to relatives to those who were killed, as well as to the people of Bulgaria.

"The Quarted considers the attack a cowardly act against innocent people, including children," states the official document.

The Peace Quartet further calls the international community to unite for resolute action against terrorism worldwide.

The attack, carried out Wednesday at Bulgaria's Burgas Airport, presumably by a suicide bomber, targeted a bus carrying Israeli tourists, and killed 7 persons, including the Bulgarian driver, 5 Israelis and the presumed attacker, sending over 30 gravely injured people to hospital.
