Brazen Morning Robbery Committed in Sofia Supermarket

A supermarket from a large chain in Sofia has been robbed early Wednesday morning.
The robbery was committed at a store on "Suhodolska" street, the Interior Ministry announced, but failed to list the name of the supermarket chain.
Three masked men attacked the store manager at 6:15 am while he was unlocking a storage room. They threatened him and hit him, after which they stole all the available cash the store had before opening.
The amount is estimated at BGN 5 000 – 6000.
Police now refute earlier reports that the robbers were armed. They are probing the case, and checking security cameras for possible leads.
