Explosive material was discovered on a truck near Sweden's largest nuclear power plant on Wednesday, prompting a tightened security at the country's nuclear power stations.
A routine vehicle check carried-out at the Ringhals power plant uncovered a fist-sized lump underneath the truck.
Police said initial results from forensic inspections confirmed the material was explosive, BBC informs.
There was no detonating device with the explosives. According to Vattenfall, the company that runs the nuclear power plant, the material could not have caused major damage.
Police suspect a sabotage attempt, Sveriges Radio says.
