Bulgaria's Pironkova Makes It to Quarterfinals of Eastbourne Tournament

Bulgaria's best female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova has qualified for the quarterfinals of the AEGON International in Eastbourne after beating Canada's Stephanie Dubois on Wednesday.

Tsvetana Pironkova required three sets to advance, the Bulgarian coming out on top over Stephanie Dubois 6-0 4-6 6-4. Pironkova has thus won USD 16 000 and 120 points for the world ranking.

Pironkova's new win comes after on Tuesday she kicked top seed and world No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska out of the tournament.
