'Meet Turkey in Vienna' Economic Talks Kick Off

Vienna Economic Forum's event entitled "Meet Turkey in Vienna - Turkey, an Important Player in the Regional Economy" under the Vienna Economic Talks is kicking off Monday, June 18.

The "Meet Turkey in Vienna" Economic Talks are being held between 18 and 19 June 2012, in Vienna, Austria.

Organized by the Vienna Economic Forum, the event will bring together business leaders, civil society representatives, government, and leaders of international organizations to discuss the following topics: Turkey and development of regional cooperation; Turkey as an important player in the regional economy - recent economic developments; Experiences and concrete success stories; Exchange of visions on innovative technologies, infrastructure and environment.

Founded in April 2004 in Vienna, the Vienna Economic Forum aims to promote the economic cooperation between the countries from the Black Sea to the Adriatic.

The Prime Ministers of all of the states from the region represent the Committee of Patrons of Vienna Economic Forum together with the Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria. All Ambassadors of the countries of the region participate in the Ambassadors Committee in the work of the Forum.

Part of the organs of Vienna Economic Forum is furthermore the Governors Committee of the National Banks of the region and the Committee of the Presidents of the Economic Chambers of the region as well as the Honorary Committee of Vienna Economic Forum.
