Bulgaria's Dimitrov Scores Breakthrough Win at Aegon Championship

Grigor Dimitrov has become the first Bulgarian male tennis player to reach the semi-final of at an ATP tournament after a win at Aegan Championship at Queen's Club in London.

Dimitrov beat South Africa's Kevin Anderson 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, reaching Top 4 of Aegon Championship.

The Dimitrov-Anderson match was terminated several times because of the rain in London but Bulgaria's top tennis player, who is ranked 72nd in the world, eventually managed to triumph over Anderson, who is 30th in the world ranking.

Dimitrov and Anderson had had only one match against each other to date, which was won by the Bulgarian last year.

In addition to making it to the top achievements of Bulgarian tennis, Dimitrov's win at the ATP Aegan Championship in London has won him EUR 26 000, and 90 points for the world ranking.
