Malaga to Decide on Berbatov by End-June

Spanish club Malaga is to decide on the potential transfer of Manchester United's Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov by the end of June, according to Spanish media.

Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini considers snapping up either Berbatov or Schalke 04's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, the reports say.

The Bulgarian's price is believed to be around EUR 6.5 M, while the Dutch striker is over three times more expensive (approximately EUR 20 M).

It is believed that the unwanted Red Devils striker would not settle for less than a club that is competing in the Champions League next season.

Malaga finished 4th in La Liga and will compete in the Champions League qualifiers for the first time in its history.

PSG, Galatasaray and – surprisingly – Liverpool have been among the clubs recently linked with the prolific forward who will almost certainly leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.

According to Berbatov's agent, Emil Danchev, the striker does not want to play in the English Premier League next season.
