Bulgarian President to Attend South East European Leaders' Summit

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev will participate Friday in a Summit of Heads of State and Government of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Belgrade, Serbia.

The regional forum for political and diplomatic dialogue includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, the Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro.

In the course of the summit, the participating countries will discuss the development of political dialogue and regional cooperation in Southeast Europe in the period June 2011 – June 2012, according to a press statement of the President's Office issued Friday.

A political declaration is to be adopted at the end of the summit.

The agenda of the summit includes bilateral meetings of the Bulgarian President with his counterparts.
