Bulgaria's men volleyball team managed to secure a precious victory against France in the Olympic qualifier.

In the match which was played at the Arena Armeets sports hall in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, Bulgaria won with 3:1 games (25:21, 26:28, 25:23, 27:25).

The face-off was crucial for the players, led by coach, Radostin Stoychev, since only a win could let them keep their Olympic chances and hopes alive.

The team now needs one more victory before making the Olympic quota. They are playing the last game from the qualifier against Egypt Sunday.
