Bulgaria's Dimitrov Fails to Upset Gasquet at Roland Garros

Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov was defeated by Frenchman Richard Gasquet at the second round of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tournament.

The young Bulgarian showed some impressive tennis but Gasquet managed to advance to the third round, as he defeated him 5:7, 7:5, 6:2, 6:3.

Thus, the world No 20 prevented Dimitrov from becoming the first Bulgarian male to reach the third round at a Grand Slam event. However, the Bulgarian is expected to climb up to around No 71 in the ATP rankings.

He also stands a good chance of entering the Olympic tournament.
