Bulgarian Ambassador to Bosnia Presents His Credentials

Bulgaria's Ambassador in Sarajevo Angel Angelov presented his credentials to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic, on Tuesday.

In talks after the ceremony, Angelov emphasized the importance that Bulgaria attaches to the European and Euro-Atlantic prospects of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has said in a statement.

Bakir Izetbegovic expressed thanks for the efforts of Bulgaria, along with personal thanks to Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov, for contributing to the Euro-Atlantic integration of his country.

He expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina would accede to the Membership Action Plan for Nato within the swiftest time possible, and for the successful conduct of local elections.
