Bulgaria's Pulev Climbs to 4th Spot in Global BoxRec Ranking

Bulgaria's heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev was met by his girlfriend, scandalous pop folk singer Andrea, at Sofia International Airport, after winning the EBU title in Germany.

Bulgarian heavywieght boxer Kubrat Pulev has climbed up to the fourth spot in the BoxRec World Heavyweight Ranking after winning the EBU European heavyweight title.

Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev AKA "The Cobra" won Saturday the EBU European heavyweight title as he battered and stopped Alexander "Sascha" Dimitrenko of Germany (a Ukrainian native) in a face-off in the professional boxing championship in Erfurt, Germany.

Pulev has thus climbed up six spots in the BoxRec world ranking, and is ranked only after Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, and Alexander Povetkin.

Pulev is also expected to move up in the rankings of the three most prestigious global boxing organizations when they are updated in mid May.
